LawInform: Sexual Harassment - Changing workplace culture - online

Everyone in the legal profession should expect to work in an environment that is safe and free from harassment. There has been widespread discussion of the research relating to sexual harassment in the legal profession and the ongoing challenges with this issue. While solicitors are not unique in facing these challenges, there is a shared responsibility to address sexual harassment and other inappropriate behaviour in legal workplaces.

This workshop identifies inappropriate conduct, the role of bystanders, workplace culture and the reporting and management of complaints. Recorded scenes in the workplace using professional actors are featured to aid learning and understanding of this serious issue, challenging what each of us can do to reduce the harm to individuals, organisations and the profession as a result of sexual harassment.
