Recent submissions

In 2022, the priority issues for the Indigenous Issues Committee are Aboriginal self-determination, community empowerment and Aboriginal economic development; incarceration rates; improving access to justice; cultural heritage protection, land rights, native title and natural resource management; consumer and civil law matters; and family law and care and protection issues.
