NSW Health
NSW Health has the latest advice and information for the community and businesses, including information about COVID-19 symptoms, case numbers, testing and social distancing and what you can and can’t do under the current rules. More here.

COVID-19 and the border

JobKeeper payment Extension
Under the JobKeeper Payment, businesses impacted by the coronavirus can access a subsidy from the Government to continue paying their employees. The JobKeeper Payment has been extended until 28 March 2021. More here.

JobKeeper payment for sole traders
Sole traders may be eligible to receive the JobKeeper Payment if their turnover has reduced. More here.

JobSeeker
Information about JobSeeker payments and services for those looking for work or doing approved studies to help find and keep a job is available here.

Cash flow support for small and medium businesses
The Government is providing temporary cash flow support of up to $100,000 for eligible small and medium-sized businesses, and not-for-profits (NFPs) that employ staff to help with their cash flow so they can keep operating, pay their rent, electricity and other bills and retain staff. 

Commercial tenancies
The Government has announced a mandatory code of conduct for commercial tenancies to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). More here

Service NSW has, in partnership with the federal, state and local government and the private sector, brought together all the support and services available to assist small business in one portal. View here.

COVID Safe businesses
NSW businesses can check, test and promote their COVID Safe credentials with the NSW Government’s online COVID Safe Check. More about how to become a COVID Safe business here. More here
