Margaret Hadley, Director
About Our Director
Margaret Hadley brings over 30 years of experience as a singer, educator and conductor to her position as Music Director of the Wisconsin Children’s Choir. Margaret conducts all three choirs and oversees student interns working with the Choir. She has been our Director since 2000.
Margaret has her B.M. in Education with a voice major and piano minor from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. Margaret has served as youth and adult choir director for five churches throughout the United States. She has worked as a clinician at Chorister's Guild functions and festivals across the country. She was the Co-Founder and Director of Children’s Choir Summer Workshop in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Margaret worked with the former Madison Boychoir as vocal coach, soloist trainer, accompanist, and substitute rehearsal director for eleven years. Margaret has sung professionally with the Choral Art Singers of Portland, Maine, Columbus Symphony Chamber Choir of Columbus, Ohio, and the August Chorale in Madison, Wisconsin. She currently performs with the Madison Chamber Choir. The Wisconsin Children’s Choir is thrilled to have her as Music Director.
